Greetings Timber Grove Community!

As we begin the second half of the school year we welcome our assistant principal, Valerie Lewis, back to Timber Grove from her assignment at Rodgers Forge Elementary School. We look forward to learning from her experiences as we continue to strengthen the Timber Grove community. Similarly, I am confident that the Timber Grove family would like to give a ROARing thank you to 4th grade teacher, Chris Baker, who stepped up to assume the role of assistant principal during Ms. Lewis’ time away. He worked tirelessly to make sure that there was a seamless transition in supporting students and staff over this past month.

February marks the start of the third marking period. You are encouraged to regularly login to BCPSOne as you monitor your student’s progress. Further, you are encouraged to stay in contact with your child’s teacher as you work together to support their academic success. Together, we can insure that all of our students reach their potential as we progress throughout the third marking period.

On January 29th the annual BCPS Stakeholders Survey opened. It will remain open until March 2nd. It is important that the voices of each member of the Timber Grove community are heard. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Please go to and select the link for the Stakeholders Survey.

Lastly, there are many opportunities for families to come in and volunteer. If you have not already done so, complete the online volunteer training and reach out to your child’s  teacher. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Best regards,

Scott Audlin, Principal
