Greetings Timber Grove Community!

It has hard to believe that we are already in April and starting the last quarter of the school year.  As the fourth quarter starts, we head further into testing season.  The close of March brought the completion of the Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA) which was administered to all fifth grade students.  Later this spring, students in grades 3,4,and 5 will participate in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (PARCC) for reading and math.  Our teachers and students have been working very hard in preparation for the assessment.  I look forward  to seeing our students' performance and reflecting on the data to further inform our instruction and improve student achievement.  As students prepare for this critical testing, please make sure that they get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time.  As a reminder students must be in homeroom by 8:20 to be on-time.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the Timber Grove families for your copperation as we have transitioned to our new security measures.  Your patience with the process is much appreciated.

With spring well underway let's hope for the end of snowy weather as we look forward to the warmer days ahead

Best Regards,
Scott Audlin, Principal
